Tall M38 gasmask canister in three-tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage pattern

Tall 1944 dated M38 gasmask canister in brush painted three-tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage pattern. Textbook early and short example in its original period applied camouflage pattern. The canister is without its gasmask and filter. The canister retains up to 85% of its period applied camouflage paint. The pull strap of the closing latch is separated but comes with the canister. Hard to find, original example in a stunning and vibrant camouflage pattern!
