Tabbed steel Heer belt buckle D&C 1941

Nice original tabbed Heer belt buckle marked D&C 1941 indicating production by Dransfeld & Co, Menden. This is the first belt buckle I’ve seen with a period repair. The catch is riveted to the main body of the buckle.
