Stripped Waffen-SS M43 EM / NCO cap

Stripped Waffen-SS M43 EM / NCO cap in used condition. The cap is a textbook late war example. It is not to be confused with its Heer counterparts by the fact it lacks a RBNR or year, and has just the size marking which is hard to read. Underneath the weather flaps the loops for the ear warmers show the typical Italian zigzag rayon lining which is a typical Waffen-SS detail and not seen on any Heer caps. The cap is stripped of its insignia and looks to have been washed at some point. Nice and hard to find genuine Waffen-SS issue example!
