SE64 M40 single decal Heer full basket chickenwire helmet

A spectacular full basket M40 single decal chickenwire camouflage helmet. The helmet is marked SE64 indicating production by Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. The helmet retains its original named liner and broken chinstrap which are original to the helmet. The helmet retains its wartime installed full basket chickenwire camouflage netting which has never been removed from the helmet. The helmet retains up to 80% of its original factory paint and textbook ET Heer decal. The said helmet was bought off a picker in Pennsylvania a few years ago and has only been in a single collection, it hasn’t been posted online anywhere. The helmet and its camouflage netting are a one looker original set.
