Restored Waffen-SS M40 field blouse

Waffen-SS M40 field blouse for a Grenadier in the 1.SS Panzerdivision Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. The blouse is in very good condition with restored original insignia. The blouse is originally a Heer M40 field blouse with Waffen-SS insignia which can be identified by the liner and other interior details. Although not a textbook Waffen-SS garment; it is very common to see Heer tunics reissued to the Waffen-SS. Especially early in the war. I have included a wartime photograph where the Heer breast eagle shadow is more then visible. The garment is a good medium size retaining up to 95% of the nap in the wool.   The garment retains a textbook RZM type collar tab set, a killer mid war set of white rayon piped shoulderstraps. The sleeve eagle is a typical RZM example sewn onto a black wool backing which shows all the signs of being a factory sewn example. There is a textbook Leibstandarte BeVo cufftitle with minor wear. A beautiful, restored garment at the fraction of a untouched example!
