Rare M42 (Steel) 1L Labeflasche marked MN44

Very rare M42 (Steel) 1L Labeflasche which has only been produced in small numbers and all by the same manufacturer, all the other manufacturers kept producing the Labeflasche out of aluminium. The canteen is marked MN 43/44 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar. The flask itself is marked 44 and the cups 43, this seems to be normal for the 1944 1L steel produced canteens, all untouched pieces I have come across had this “mis-match”. The canteen is used and has some traces of usage but luckily no major damaging. Excellent andvery rare steel 1L canteen which would be impossible to upgrade!
