Rare matching K98 bayonet marked omc 90 – Machinenhaus Ferlach

Rare Austrian made matching K98 bayonet marked omc 90 indicating production by Machinenhaus Ferlach, Kärnte. The bayonet is marked with the typical ‘OMC’ logo in the blade which it was one of only two producers to do this. Ferlach started production in 1939 and later used the BYM code from 1940 onwards. Finding a OMC marked blade is extremely rare. The bayonet is in good, used condition. The blade and scabbard are both number matching and dated 1939. The bayonet is lightly cleaned but otherwise one of the rarest examples to find. Missing from most collections; this is a must have for any serious bayonet collector!
