Rare M42 canteen marked MN42

Rare and textbook M42 canteen in excellent, most likely unissued condition. The canteen is nicely marked MN 42 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH., Neunkirchen-Saar in 1942. This is actually a rare canteen because it is dated 1942 which is the first production year of the M42 canteen, finding these is rather difficult! Hard to upgrade M42 canteen!
