Textbook early pre war M31 canteen in excellent condition. The canteen is perfectly matching and nicely marked SMM 35 which indicates production by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach in 1935. This is one of the earliest canteens that I have encountered in this condition. Textbook early example which would be hard to upgrade!
