Rare Ful stag RAD EM Hewer marked Ges. Gesch. Carl Eickhorn Solingen

This is a rare, early M34 Reichsarbeitsdienst EM dagger or Hewer marked Ges. Gesch. Carl Eickhorn Solingen indicating production by Carl Eickhorn from Solingen. The dagger is a rare early variant with a full horn grip which includes the point or ‘beak’ in the grip which was later reformed with a metal point. The blade has the Arbeit Adelt motto and RADJ Ges. Gesch. Carl Eickhorn markings. The blade has not been sharpened. The scabbard is the correct, early variant made from blued metal with both endpieces made in brass covered with nickel plating. The dagger and its scabbard are matching in condition, variant and patina. This is a beautiful, early set that would be very hard to upgrade. This dagger comes with a certificate of authentication of Lakeside trader who in my opinion is one of the leading dagger experts in the world.
