Rare British Assault Jerkin marked V&G 1943, size large

Rare British Assault Jerkin marked V&G 1943, size large. These assault Jerkins were issued to several British and Canadian units during the D-Day operation. The vest is a rare large size and is in good used and issued (!) condition. The vest been modified by slightly replacing the male part of the waist strap to the right for a tighter fit as the size is large. There is some foam remnants inside the shoulders. The vest is a beautiful display piece for any D-Day oriented collection and a used example is what you should look for for a serious collection!
