Published Erkennungsmarke GR. KW. KOL. /PZ. ABT. 67 indicating Geräte-Kraftwagen-Kolonne, Panzer Abteilung 67. This unit was formed in 1938 in Berlin and part of the 3. Leichte Division during the Polish campaign. Later the Abteilung was renamed Panzer Regiment 10 and the division was renamed to the 8. Panzerdivision. This division took part in many battles mostly on the eastern front.
The Erkennungsmarke is featured on page 84 of the reference book Deutsche Erkennungsmarken by Jean Höidal. The number of the back corresponds with the number in the book.
