This intriguing Dutch NSB press photograph captures a newspaper obituary that has been deliberately defaced as an act of resistance. At the top of the obituary is vandalized with the addition of recycled newspaper letters and words reading; ‘Door deze Kennisgeving bezorgt gij Nederland kosteloos prettige oogenblikken‘ meaning ‘Through this Notice, you provide the Netherlands with enjoyable moments free of charge’.
