Original starter tab for the MG34 and MG42. These starter tabs were linked to the standard 50 round belts ommitting the need for opening the top cover to reload. The tab is marked Switz 39 indicating production by Siemens Elektrowärmer G.m.b.H., Werk Sörnewitz.
