Affe/Tornister messkit cover dated 1941

Very nice early war manufactured mess kit cover as can be seen inside the Affe/Tornister. Interestingly this example seems to have never been attached to an Affe/Tornister but most likely issued loose inside it. The leather closing straps is nicely maker marked and dated 1941. Very nice example!
