Mccord made US M1 fixed bale with first pattern USMC cover

US M1 fixed bale McCord helmet with Int’l Molder Plastics Co liner. The shell is marked 271C indicating production by McCord. The cover is a nice first pattern example in good worn condition with lots of character. The cover and helmet net show natural wear and patina matching to the helmet and its liner. The cover had the USMC insignia applied to the front at some point after the war. The helmet is a nice example of a fixed bale M1 helmet with its original liner and cover!
