M42 canteen marked MN 1944 / C&CW 43

Textbook late war M42 canteen in overall good condition. Sadly the canteen is a mismatched example but is found as is. The flask itself is nicely marked MN 44 which indicates production by Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar (MENESA) in 1944 and the cup is marked C&CW 43 which indicates production by Colsmann & Co, Werdohl in 1943. The canteen features typical late war pigskin leather straps and a blue painted carabiner hook. Nice late war M42 canteen.
