A very nice late war L&SL 44 marked M42 canteen indicating production by Linnepe & Schiffer Metallwarenfabrik, Lüdenscheid. Textbook configuration with gabardine cover, bakelite cup and nice dark brown leather straps. Sadly the cover does have some stains and a damage to the press studs. A textbook late war canteen in good, used condition!
