Rare M31 messkit marked 0/0571/0116 44

Late war produced M31 mess kit or “Kochgeschirre M 31 (Alum.)” in excellent condition. This is a so-called transitional M31 variant mess kit: manufactured out of aluminium (M31) with simplified steel hooks as introduced with the M42 mess kit! The mess kit is nicely marked 0/0571/0116 44 which indicates production by Otto Honsel-Werke, Aluminiumwerk, Werdohl in late 1944! Note that the handle of the lid does not have the loop for the equipment strap. Rare RBNr. marked mess kit in used condition!
