Textbook early pre war M31 canteen in excellent condition. The canteen is perfectly matching and nicely marked HRE 35 which indicates production by Heinrich Ritter, Esslingen in 1935. This is one of the earliest canteens that I have encountered in this condition. Textbook early example which would be hard to upgrade!
