Impressive Dutch resistance/intelligence grouping of Stoottroeper Vijgen

Extensive grouping of E.W.H. Vijgen, who served as a resistance man in the Orange Brigade in Heerlen, later to be a official member of the Stoottroepen. The armband MID indicates Militaire Inlichtingen Dienst or Military Intelligence Service. The grouping consists of a great number of items ranging from resistance armbands to pins, manuals and other paperwork. The grouping is to Dhr. Vijgen, who served various duties during the occupation and liberation of the southern Netherlands. The large book that comes with the group contains a large portion of the history of his resistance group. The book contains many secret resistance radio communication showing interesting information on operation Market Garden and other late war battles in the Netherlands. It concludes secret communication between the resistance and the Allies, but also what they heard from German radio communication.
