German ID disc or Erkennungsmarke marked 3. / S. Art. Abt. 729 indicating Schwere Artillerie Abteilung 729. This unit was outfitted with three batteries of Czech 10,5 cm guns. In 1940 they supplied the second and third battery to Artillerie Regiment 240 (which is the battery of this Erkennungsmarke). With AR240 it was attatched to the 170 Infanterie Division.
