Heer issue field cutlery can opener marked C&CW 42

Excellent can opener which is part of the Wehrmacht field cutlery set which were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The can opener is also the base part which keeps all 4 loose parts together. The can opener is nicely marked C&CW 42 which indicates production by  Colsmann & Co, Werdohl in 1942. As is the case with almost all parts of the field cutlery sets this fork is marked with an clearly visible eagle which clarifies it’s Eigentum der Wehrmacht. Perfect as a spare or to complete a field cutlery set!
