Excellent and textbook M31 canteen with webbing straps in very good condition. The flask is nicely marked MN 40 which indicates production by Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar (MENESA) in 1940, the cover is marked HWSD 42. The canteen is a textbook configuration with webbing straps and a black bakelite cup. Very nice example which would be hard to upgrade!
