Matching pre war K98 bayonet S/172 1936

Textbook pre war K98 bayonet maker marked and dated S/172 1937 indicating production by Carl Eickhorn. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 6691. The bayonet retains a lot of its original blueing and would be hard to upgrade.
