The transition box is used to connect the FF cable terminated by an end cable to any cables in a simple, clear and waterproof form. The box is nicely marked Venditor 1941 which indicates production by Venditor, Kunststoff-Verkaufsgesellschaft mbH Troisdorf in 1941. This is the first time that I have encountered this waterproof variant.

Brown Bakelite 6×30 Dienstglas case marked 43/T3
€275.00Excellent carrying case for the 6×30 binoculars or Dienstglas manufactured out of brown coloured Bakelite. Interestingly this case clearly shows the filler material of the Bakelite being shredded textile fiber. The case is complete with the leather belt loops on the back which could have been restored. The case is in clean and undamaged condition!

€750.00Rare early M24 grenade case with pre 1933 Waffenamt in excellent condition. This is a early case maker marked Ernst Sorst & Co Hannover with a pre 1933 Waffenamt marking. The case is a interesting example for multiple reasons; it is the first example I have seen which has riveted and not spot welded metal fittings. Secondly this example is factory finished in a apple green paint and complete with its stencils. Even though there is no internal carrying rack this is truly one of the rarest examples to find; for sure a first for me!

MG34 u. MG42 barrel changing mitt
€300.00Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

The buckle is a typical Belgian product with its base material in Zinc and the typical large prong bar retaining stud which is bigger then the well known Rodo variants. The buckle retains its typical catch which is made from metal wire, soldered to the base. The buckle is a typical example with its silver paint finish. This is a very hard buckle to find, and probably unique with its original blue paint finish!
