Unissued optics lighting battery case
€275.00Excellent optical sight battery box intended for the MGZ or similar optics. This is a typical late war produced example. The case is finished in tan factory paint which retains up to 99%. The protective cloth and the bakelite housing are undamaged and complete. The case is unissued and still has some of its original factory wrapping around it. Impossible to upgrade example!

€525.00Nice original MG34 u. MG42 tool pouch manufactured from leather. Unusual late war leather construction, almost all late war produced MG tool pouches are constructed out of Pressstoff. This example is nicely marked with a gzr 1944 which indicates production by Wöhler & Co. F.O. Lederwarenfabrik, Wuppertal-Barmen in 1944. The pouch is still complete with all internals which are virtually always removed from the pouch. Sadly the D-ring on the back of the pouch is removed. Nice late war leather example in excellent condition.

€250.00Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

M42 canteen marked SMM43
€200.00Textbook M42 (steel) canteen in good condition. The canteen and the cup are both nicely marked SMM 43 which indicates production by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach in 1943. The canteen is complete with its original steel cup which lost almost all of its green final paint but still retains all of the red primer paint makes it look like one of the cups which was issued with only the primer paint. Very nice and aesthetic example!

€250.00Coconut canteen marked HRE 42 / 45 named P. Höllinger. This is a textbook late war canteen with a late war strap. The flask is dated 1942 but I believe this is merely the mould marking, not the actual date. This is very common with these canteens to find 45 marked cups with earlier dated bodies. The strap, cup and hardware all point towards later war manufacture in 1945. Hard to find example!

The canteen is nicely marked MN 42 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH., Neunkirchen-Saar in 1942. This is actually a rare canteen because it is dated 1942 which is the first production year of the M42 canteen, finding these is rather difficult! Hard to upgrade M42 canteen!
