These sets of pencils were very popular among officers and NCO’s and other troops which worked with maps. Easy to keep with you and perfect to clarify and mark maps! The case is still in good condition and the labels are still readable. The label clearly reads: “Landkarten-Stifte Nr. 541“. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Taktik-etui) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). This is one of the rarer products to find from the Eberhard Faber product line and this example comes straight out of my personal collection! Belongs in any map-case collection!

The pouch misses its original Eberhard Faber content but contains 5 period Renta 1507 propelling pencils which are marked Stadsverwaltung München which are original to the pouch. The pouch is nicely named to Unteroffizier Pütz. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

The pouch features all 4 coloured (yellow, red, blue & black) propelling pencils which are all undamaged and complete with their fillings inside! The pouch also contains its original tube for spare fillings. The pouch only misses the “Marschleistungen” measurement tool and the eraser which are virtually always missing from these sets. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Some stitching on the belt loop has come loose as can be clearly seen. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

    A stunning pair of 6×30 Dienstglas or binoculars manufactured out of Bakelite. The binoculars are nicely marked cxn which indicates production by Emil Busch A.-G., Rathenow. These Bakelite binoculars  were produced to reduce the usage of metal in the production process and are rare late war production! The binoculars retains the original leather strap. One of the rarest bits of equipment used by the German army which is highly collectable and IMO very hard to upgrade!

The helmet is a typical late war example with very rough tool marks. The helmets markings are hard to read but the shape of the shell are typical for the maker EF indicating production by Emaillierwerke Fulda in the shell size 66. A very nice late war example in a good large size that would be hard to upgrade.

    Very nice “tropical” M31 breadbag in good condition. This breadbag is most likely made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the (BEF) British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent this British equipment to Litzmannstadt for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. Y-straps, A-frames and rucksacks are a few of the items made in Litzmannstadt. Very nice original M31 breadbag!

I photographed it with some butterdishes on top to lay it out flat as it has always been rolled up. The artwork of the poster was done by Lou Manché. On the bottom it is marked Goedgekeurd door het departement van volksvoorlichting en kunsten Nr. 116. Uithangtermijn van 15 Juli tot 15 Augustus 1943, Very rare to find poster!
