German helmet

Dutch NSB photo grouping ‘NSB Fotodienst in actie’. Original envelope with contact sheets from the NSB Fotodienst. The photographs are clear and have great details. These photographs were a part of the NSB photo archive.

Original NSBO or Deutsche Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation flag for the district ‘Heilbronn Wartberg 21’. A large flag with silver fringe all round and all but one pole attachment hooks. Nice and decorative item!

Nice original Vermittlungsklinke or telephone dial for the FF33 field phone. The dial is in good, working condition without damage to the bakelite and will most probably be in working condition still.

Textbook MP38 u. MP40 sling in very good, usable condition. The strap is maker marked but this became unreadable, still the year of manufacturing can be deciphered: 1941. Excellent example which is hard to find as a spare!

Nice and original USAAF Pilot silver wings. This is a textbook example nicely marked Sterling. This is the small 2” variant in width of the wings!

Textbook Heer tropical officers belt in very good condition. The belt retains its buckle with 95% of its factory paint. The belt is maker marked but hard to read. Rare tropical brocade belt!

Rare cased Dutch Oostlandkruis or better known as the Mussertkruis in very good condition. This cross was instituted as a decoration to be awarded to NSB members in German service who had taken part in the campaign against Russia. The cross is in very good condition with only a minor damage to the enamel. The box is in good condition with most of the original finish remaining. Hard to find cased example!

Textbook embroided cufftitle for the Dutch Landwacht. One of the less common types found.

Rare early pointed bottom hand embroided Dutch volunteer sleeve shield for use with the Freiwilligen Legion Niederlande. This is one of the rarest and one of the most desirable types; only a handful of these have survived! This is a double from my personal collection; for sure a rare opportunity to acquire such a rare Dutch Waffen-SS sleeve shield!

Excellent bullion manufactured Luftwaffe breast eagle in very good, unissued condition.

Textbook matching Luftwaffe Hermann Göring division collar tabs in good condition. Rare to find pair that would be hard to upgrade!

Typical converted Dutch pre war tunic for service in the German army. The garment is in slightly worn condition but has a number of repairs to the sleeve and body. The garment features its wartime sewn insignia and a set of M40 Heer Artillery shoulderstraps. The size is good for modern militaria mannequins. Nice piece!

Textbook late war Sumpftarn reversible parka trousers in good worn condition. The trousers are a size 2 which is a perfect mannequin size, not too big, not too small. The trousers retain their matching suspenders with matching camouflage pattern. Nice piece!

Heer single decal M40 helmet marked Q66 indicating production by Quist. The helmet features a rough, brush applied dark green camouflage paint. The helmet retains its factory placed liner. The helmet’s decal looks to be scratched off at some point.

M40 Luftwaffe helmet marked Q62 indicating production by Quist. The helmet retains its factory installed liner named Erik. The helmet comes from a Danish resistance fighter and that is probably the reason the decal was removed. The front of the helmet has a dent of a pistol calibre ricochet.

M18 Polizei helmet marked ET66 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. This early transitional helmet with factory fitted early M31 liner and clasp chinstrap is a very early production with the lion logo for Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. The helmet retains two sets of decals stacked on top of each other. The first two decals are the large swastika and small tricolor which was typical for members of the Freikorps. The helmet is a very nice untouched example with many interesting features. A nice addition for any serious helmet collector!
