Kall-Trail deathcard Heinrich Reines KIA 6.11.1944 Vossenack/Kall trail
€100.00Rare Original deathcard of Stabsgefreiter Heinrich Reines. Reines served in an Infanterie-Regiment and according to the deathcard was killed in action in the Huertgen Forest on 6 November 1944. Research on Volksbund shows he was killed 2 kilometres south east of Vossenack which is the exact location of the famous Kall-trail which leads to the town of Schmidt. Looking at his date of death and location he most probably served in the 1056. Infanterie-Regiment of the 89. Infanterie-Divison. He was most likely killed in action when his unit was engaged with Taskforce Ripple between 5 and 7 November 1944. Reines unit operated from the Teufelsley wooded area and attacked the American forces along the Kall-trail on numerous occasions in co-operation with the 116. Aufklärungs-Abteilung of the Windhund-Division. Reines is buried in Vossenack.

CKL71 M38 paratrooper helmet in excellent condition
Stunning M38 paratrooper helmet marked CKL71 indicating production by Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale. The helmet is a late war type no decal M38 helmet. The helmet retains its originally factory mounted late war liner and chinstrap. The bolts are typical for this type of helmet; two aluminum and two steel. The helmet retains 99% of its original factory Feldgrau textured paint with a nice amount of steel slag. The helmet is a large size 71 shell with a size 60 liner. The liner is marked RBNr. 0/1305/0293. The chinstrap is a mid war variant with a friction buckle and working press studs. Simply the best large sized late war M38 paratrooper helmet I have ever had for some time!

Excellent original first pattern Luftwaffe Felddivision smock in Splittertarn B camouflage. The smock is a nice first pattern with press studs on the sleeves and the Splittertarn B printed on thick and smooth fabric. The breast eagle is a typical original example showing the same patina as the garment but in my opinion restored to the jacket. The garment is a nice large mannequin size and would be a nice base for a combat mannequin!

A very nice original three-tone or Normandy camouflage gasmask canister. The canister is nicely named to Unterwachtmeister Just. Hofmann Feldpostnr. 48206 b. The canister retains its original camouflage paint up to 75% and is in very nice vibrant condition. The canister still retains the original strap, spare lenses, filter and mask. A classic Normandy camouflage gasmask canister with the typical bright colours that would easily be matched to a Normandy camouflage helmet!

Late war wooden verbandkasten
Later in the war the German vehicle first aid kit or “Verbandkasten” was made out of wood in stead of steel. Most of these don’t have a label on the inside and are executed in field gray paint. This one is in very good condition with over 90% of the period paint remaining. The spray painted letters on the front are very aesthetically pleasing and would nicely compliment a medical display!
