ET71 M38 camouflaged and battledamaged paratooper helmet
€5,500.00ET71 M38 camouflaged and battledamaged paratooper helmet. This is a rare original Fallschirmjäger helmet marked ET71 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. The helmet is a early to mid war single decal example which was subsequently camouflaged in tropical tan paint and later in a dark green camouflage paint. The helmet was originally found in Northern France. The helmet has a battle damage to the front of the helmet which looks to have traveled sideways from left to right. The helmet retains its original liner band and three out of four bolts. The leather and padding were removed at some point; I presume this was because of the blood staining inside. This is a very hard to find, large sized, camouflaged and battle damaged Fallschirmjäger helmet that would be very hard to replace or improve!

Rare late war MG34 u. MG42 ammunation case carrying bag
Incredibly scarce ammunition carrying bag for the MG34 and MG42 ammunition boxes. Manufactured from late war red striped material same as used for MP44 magazine pouches. These carrying bags where designed to carry a set of two ammunition boxes. This is a single bag which was worn with a single box which seems to have happened often later in the war. These bags where mostly used by Fallschirmjäger and Waffen-SS troops later in the war. These bags are incredibly scarce and this is a excellent, lightly used example.
The ammunition box is a part of the sale; a equally rare example with E-kasten markings and a ink Waffenamt stamped on the lid.

Rare late war MG34 u. MG42 ammunation case carrying harness
Incredibly scarce set of two ammunition carrying bags for the MG34 and MG42 ammunition boxes. Manufactured from late war red striped material same as used for MP44 magazine pouches. These carrying bags where designed to carry a set of two ammunition boxes. Two cells made out of canvas with a H shaped harness in between. There are roughly two different types of these pouches produced, one is with releasable and one is with fixed straps/harness. The straps are stitched onto the pouches with a piece of leather reinforcement on the inside. These pouches are the second type, with permanently affixed straps. These sets where mostly used by Fallschirmjäger and Waffen-SS troops later in the war. One of the closing hooks is sadly missing. These bags are incredibly scarce and this set would be impossible to upgrade!
The ammunition boxes are naturally not a part of the sale!

ET71 M38 single decal Fallschirmjäger helmet
Textbook M38 single decal Fallschirmjäger helmet marked ET71 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. The helmet is a textbook single decal example retaining up to 95% of its original finish and decal. The decal is a factory applied example. At some point someone painted around the swastika to emphasize the details. This was only on top the swastika part which looks to be hardly undamaged underneath! Not to be confused with a denazified decal as it is intact underneath the paint. The helmet retains its factory installed liner in size 60 and chinstraps. Very nice example in excellent condition!

Rare MP34 u. MP38 magazine pouch marked BNZ 1941
€6,350.00Rare MP34 magazine pouch marked BNZ 1941 indicating production by BNZ – Steyr -Daimler – Puch. The pouch was intended for use with the MP34 but saw extensive use with the MP38 as this pouch. There are several photographs of this type of pouch in wear during the Crete and Normandy battle by Fallschirmjäger. Very rare original pouch complete with the original strap!

Fallschirmjäger regiment 3 photo album with 125 photos
A very nice original photo album belonging to a Fallschirmjäger who served with FJR3 in Holland, Crete, Russia, Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Monte Cassino. Allthough FJR3 was formed in August 1940; the first photograph in the album clearly shows a Jäger portrait who is wearing several awards but most specifically a Dutch FN1922 holster which could only be a souvenir of the 1940 battle in the Netherlands and as such suggests he was transferred from a different Fallschirmjäger Regiment. The album contains 125 nice, clear photographs with many interesting subjects ranging from vehicles to tanks, heavy weapons, camouflage and equipment photos. The grave photos all point to units in Fallschirmjäger Regiment 3. This is a very nice photo album which would be a great base for further research!

ET68 M38 paratrooper helmet KIA from Rome
Textbook M38 paratrooper or Fallschirmjäger helmet marked ET68. The helmet retains it full factory finish and decal. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and chinstrap. The liner is heavily blood stained indicating this is a WIA or KIA helmet. The original description of the helmet and its source was written by the original collector below. A overall spectacular example externally ánd internally!
On 8 September 1943, Gen. Dwight Eisenhower publicly announces the surrender of Italy to the Allies. The Germans then started “Operatoion Achse” and attacked Rome where there was only a spontaneous and uncoordinated defense by individual military units and armed civilians, although around Rome there was a strong military presence in Italian, but without precise orders and without a plan of defense they were defeated even if in a higher number but with inadequate weaponry. Between the 9 and the 10 September 1943 in Rome the 2.Fallschirmjäger Division was fighting against the Italian (Granatieri di Sardegna units and groups of civilian volunteers.) in Porta San Paolo to disarm them (and at 16.00 General Calvi signed the surrender of Rome with Field Marshal Kesselring..) during the fights a local civilian picked up the helmet from a heavily wounded German paratrooper and kept it years. This man over 45 years ago was a client of a dentist in Rome. He heard from the dentist that the son (of the dentist) was collecting ww2 relics and decided to give the Helmet to him for free. Until a couple of years ago when i managed to buy it. The Helmet is in Fantastic condition with a great Decal and paint. Liner is completely blood soaked and dry, the blood is also on the nuts inside and on the foam pad. It s completely untouched and a true piece of Italian campaign history, definitely from a member of the 2.Fallschirmjäger Division.

Rare converted green step-in paratrooper smock
Rare converted green step-in paratrooper smock in worn condition. This is a early or pre war example which was converted to the later style smock or Knochensack. The smock is in used condition, it retains three of its factory placed Rapid zippers of which one is missing its metal pull tab. There is one spare zipper inlcuded which could, be restored into the smocks right breast pocket. The smock is a nice size IIa which would be a good fit for most modern mannequins. The garment features an replaced but yet original very rare grunmelierte breast eagle which is typical for such an early smock. The smock is a very rare early example with genuine combat wear that would be a hard to find item and great acquisition for the Fallschirmjäger collector.
