The overall condition is good and the damage/discoloration isn’t very disturbing. The butterdish is nice engraved with the initials of the previous own with W.U.

The cup is nicely marked with the 3 letter code gfc which indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland. The cup is MPD marked with the material S which indicates the usage of Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Nice cup to complete a canteen or a display!

Original Deathcard to Ernst Fehr, Unteroffizier in a Flakabteilung killed in action 24.12.1944 in Luxemburg. Fehr was awarded the Eisernez Kreuz II klasse, Flakkampfabzeichen, Erdkampfabzeichen and the Verwundetenabzeichen. He was buried in Hosingen later to be reburied in Sandweiler.

Beautiful black bakelite canteen cup in a stunning condition without any damages. The cup is nicely MPD marked 32/K which indicates production by H. Römmler AG. Spremberg and the usage of urea resin (which is a certain type of Bakelite) with an organic filler material. This cup is stamped in an interesting way with some sort of lot number underneath the MPD code. Beautiful rare black bakelite cup!

Philips “Knijpkat” type 7424-03 torch
Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the knijhpkat doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works. Excellent example with a dotted pattern in the paint which looks very nice!
