Nice early brown coloured equipment strap with quick release strap. The strap is clearly dated 1938 and features typical early construction details as aluminium hardware and brown coloured leather. The strap features a unit mark which is nice for further research, nice pre war equipment strap in good used condition!

Excellent can opener which is part of the Wehrmacht field cutlery set which were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The can opener is also the base part which keeps all 4 loose parts together. The can opener is nicely marked 5266 but its still unclear which manufactured this should indicate. As is the case with almost all parts of the field cutlery sets this fork is marked with an clearly visible eagle which clarifies it’s Eigentum der Wehrmacht. Perfect as a spare or to complete a field cutlery set!

Textbook original dark green US M1 helmet net. This is the textbook small hole and rough, thick greenish thread construction. Nicely looking variant with dark green netting and a lighter greenish drawstring. This dark green coloured net is uncommon and very hard to find as a spare!

Textbook original brown allied forces helmet net. This type could be seen on the helmets of most allied forces: Canadian, British and US. Excellent example with small holes and rather thick thread. Would look perfect on a US M1 or a British MKII helmet!

Black bakelite canteen cup marked 4M/S
Black bakelite cup which is in a good used condition with some small surface scratches. The cup is nicely marked with an MPD code which was typical for period produced bakelite items. The MPD code 4M/S Indicates production by Kronacher Porzellanfabrik Stockhardt und Schmidt-Eckert, Kronach and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Excellent black bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!

Original 1943 dated “blaugrau” buttons for Heer, Luftwaffe and SS. In 1943 a new “einheitsfarbe” meaning colour for all branches was introduced and used on all garments. This was never fully implemented but a large portion of the M43 and most if not all M44 tunics received these. From that date onwards “Graublau” was the new textbook colour for pebbled buttons on uniforms. These can be seen on original m42, m43 and m44 tunics, mantels and caps. Also the M43 tropical uniforms and Fliegerblusen featured these!
