This set still retains 4 of the original pencils and a period eraser. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Taktik-etui) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). This small variant is one of the rarest products to find from the Eberhard Faber product line and this example comes straight out of my personal collection! Belongs in any map-case collection!

    Very rare and extremely scarce Eberhard Faber Taktik-Etui Nr. 542 in excellent condition. The pouch features all 4 coloured (yellow, red, blue & black) propelling pencils which are all undamaged and complete with their fillings inside! The pouch also contains its original tube for spare fillings. The pouch only misses the “Marschleistungen” measurement tool and the eraser which are virtually always missing from these sets. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Some stitching on the belt loop has come loose as can be clearly seen. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

The Planzeiger is dated 1937 and the Zielgevierttafel is dated 1934, which is very early!  Complete sets are becoming harder to find, let alone in matching condition by a desirable manufacturer!

In 1945 it was demilitarized and deactivated as factory no longer being allowed to produce by the new government. It was moved and renamed VEB Alubau Wismar in 1948 indicating this spoon was produced prior to 1945.
