EM / NCO collar tab 13. Waffen-SS division Handschar – moleskin base
New€265.00Textbook example of the Handschar Waffen-SS Collar Tab. These were intended for the 13. Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS “Handschar”. This is an unissued, late war piece, in the typical “Dachau” construction as found in the SS storehouse at the Dachau camp when it was liberated by US Army forces in 1945. These are embroidered in silver-gray on a base of typical SS black moleskin(!). On the reverse, the textbook Dachau type coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is visible. There is some glue on the back, as well as the white stitching common to these Dachau tabs. Overall textbook construction with silver-white embroidered “Handschar” symbol on a typical black wool backing, and on the reverse the coarsely woven tan buckram stiffener is clearly visible. Less common to find on a moleskin base!

The helmet is missing the long part of the chinstrap but the short piece with aluminium hardware is still there. The helmet features a thick layer of field applied paint which clearly shows traces of chicken wire which was attached to the helmet when the repaint took place. The helmet is a beautiful ex chickenwire helmet in very nice condition!

Metal can for the Zündmitttel Sprengpatrone Z with manual
€150.00A unissued metal can for Zündmitttel Sprengpatrone Z complete with its original manual. The can contained a fuse to ignite the Sprengpatrone Z, a explosive devise that was used in the event of demolition of artillery or guns in armoured vehicles. The Sprengpatrone Z and its attributes are rare to find. The canister is in unissued condition with storage wear and nicely marked Zündmittel Spr. Patr. Z. There is a light corrosion externally which in my opinion, could easily be cleaned. Very hard to find with the original manual!

These were carried in different cases as to not mix them with regular ammunition. Scarce wooden box in good as found condition!

Unissued and rare M31 breadbag manufactured with British webbing in Litzmannstadt
€225.00Very nice “tropical” M31 breadbag in good condition. This breadbag is most likely made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the (BEF) British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent this British equipment to Litzmannstadt for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. Y-straps, A-frames and rucksacks are a few of the items made in Litzmannstadt. Very nice original M31 breadbag!

This is a textbook 1940 dated Dutch overcoat which was converted by the addition of shoulderboards, German buttons and deletion of the rear belt hooks for the use within the Heer. These pre war Dutch overcoats are very hard to find with most if not all heavily suffering from moth damage which is nearly not to be observed on this example. Beautiful example!
