This bag is one of the last examples made for the Wehrmacht or most probably made in the direct post war period for use with POW’s. I have never seen this variant before and in my opinion it fits right in the late war equipment collection!

NewRare pre war Y-strap marked Frost & Jahnel Breslau 1939. The strap is a pre war example which was produced in the time it still was a experimental piece. Only a small portion of the airlanding infantry used them in 1940 during the Fall Gelb campaign. The straps feature all aluminium hardware. The D-ring attatchment straps have been repaired at some point but are original to the straps. This is a very rare strap in good used condition!

M42 canteen marked SMM 45
€300.00Stunning and textbook late war M42 canteen in close to mint, most likely unissued condition. The canteen is a typical late war example with a rough wool cover with small press studs and black straps. The flask itself is marked SMM 45 and the cup is marked SMM 44 which in my opinion indicates a factory mismatched example produced by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach in early 1945 with left over stock from 1944. Excellent late war M42 which would be hard to upgrade!

This canteen is interestingly early for an unissued canteen, most of those are dated 39/40. Textbook fully matching and unissued M31 example which is a must have for every canteen collector!

Textbook configuration with gabardine cover, bakelite cup and nice dark brown leather straps. Sadly the cover does have some stains and a damage to the press studs. A textbook late war canteen in good, used condition!

The canteen is all matching marked VDNS 40 which indicates production by by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke/Nickel-und Stahlwerke, Schwerte in 1940. VDNS is a rather hard to encounter manufacturer! The canteen features aesthetic light brown coloured straps. Excellent example!

Rare pre war matching M31 canteen marked ESB 34
Very interesting and rare all matching canteen dated 1934! The flask, cover, straps and cup are all nicely marked ESB 34 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1934. Early parts of standard Wehrmacht equipment is almost impossible to find and very desirable! Simply impossible to upgrade matching 1934 dated canteen!

This is a so-called transitional M31 variant mess kit: manufactured out of aluminium (M31) with simplified steel hooks as introduced with the M42 mess kit! The mess kit is nicely marked 0/0571/0116 44 which indicates production by Otto Honsel-Werke, Aluminiumwerk, Werdohl in late 1944! Note that the handle of the lid does not have the loop for the equipment strap. Rare RBNr. marked mess kit in used condition!

The messkit still retains around 95% of its original factory applied finish. The messkit is nicely marked HRE 40 which indicates production by Heinrich Ritter, Esslingen in 1949. Textbook example which would be impossible to upgrade!
