Waffen-SS M42 plane tree 3/4 camouflage smock
A stunning original Waffen-SS hand screened plane tree 3/4 smock or Tarnjacke in very good condition. The smock is in very good, lightly worn condition. The smock is a typical M42 type 2 smock with slanted pockets. The pockets are lined with field grey Drillich material with overprint pocket flaps. The pocket is lined with hand screened plane tree. The garment is typically sewn on the sides with a double needle seam and the rest finished with a single needle machine. The rayon drawstring is original to the piece and woven through machine sewn eyelets. All of the foliage loops are fully intact except for one corner which is loose. The sleeves are finished with hand screened 3/4 plane tree. The elastic on the sleeves and waist is non- functional and is partially removed. The elastic is tunneled in bright oak leaf spring material. The smock has one small damage on the spring side, underneath the sleeve at belt hight. The camouflage print is strong and full of contrast and the colours are vibrant. The print on this smock is always with a very slight green tone, this is not due to fading but a colour scheme we can see with all 3/4 overprint material. The 3/4 plane tree camouflage smock is hard to find compared to other plane tree variants. This combat smock would be a prime piece in any camouflage collection and would be very hard to upgrade.

Rare M42 (Steel) 1L Labeflasche marked MN44
Very rare M42 (Steel) 1L Labeflasche which has only been produced in small numbers and all by the same manufacturer, all the other manufacturers kept producing the Labeflasche out of aluminium. The canteen is marked MN 43/44 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar. The flask itself is marked 44 and the cups 43, this seems to be normal for the 1944 1L steel produced canteens, all untouched pieces I have come across had this “mis-match”. The canteen is used and has some traces of usage but luckily no major damaging. Great and very rare steel 1L canteen in good used condition. Only the second I have ever been able to offer!

Y-straps manufactured from British webbing in Litzmannstadt
These Y-straps are made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent these for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. This Y-strap is a beautiful example of the equipment that was made in Litzmannstadt.
The Y-strap is in stone mint condition and shows a lot of interesting British features and details into the construction. Sadly the Y-strap is missing the back strap and is incomplete but it still is a beautiful Litzmannstadt produced Y-strap in further mint condition. This piece would be perfect for restoration or can be displayed on a mannequin as is!

Rare(!) orange bakelite canteen cup F7/K
Incredibly rare original orange bakelite canteen cup. This is a rare opportunity to buy original orange bakelite canteen cup. This example was certainly MPD code marked just like the other examples but the markings are completely faded because of the time in the ground. The MPD code F7/K which was once present indicates production by a still unknown maker and the usage of urea resin (which is a certain type of Bakelite) with an organic filler material. The bakelite surface is affected by the time in the ground and thereby lost its smooth surface and its marking. The cup only has some minor discolorations which could probably be cleaned some more. Beautiful original and very rare example!
This cup was found in Berlin recently together with 12 complete and 5 damaged cups. They were dug up underneath remnants of a concrete floor together with other canteen cups and butterdishes. In 15 years of collecting I’ve only found one example for my personal collection: this is only the second time I’ve been able to acquire one. I have kept 3 cups for my personal collection, other then these there are no other orange cups on the market that I am aware of. Rarer then most Knights Crosses: this is probably the rarest item I have had for sale in the 5 years that fjm44.com has been online!

Dutch/Germanic SS standaard II numbered collar tab
Very rare Dutch/Germanic SS collar tab from “Standaard II” which was from the Gelderland and Overijssel area with the headquarters in Arnhem. On paper these “Standaard” units consisted of at least 1500 men, but in reality due to the constant flow off SS-men to the Waffen-SS, a “Standaard” unit only consisted of approximately 130 men. This indicates how very rare these collar tabs are! This collar tab was for the ranks “SS-Maat” (SS-Schütze) to “Hoofschaarleider” (Hauptscharführer). The collar tab is in an outstanding condition, and still retains its original RZM label on the back. This is the first one I have ever encountered and had the pleasure to offer!
