Y-straps manufactured from British webbing in Wirtschaftsamt Litzmannstadt
These Y-straps are made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent these for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. This Y-strap is a beautiful example of the equipment that was made in Litzmannstadt. The Y-strap is in stone mint condition and shows a lot of interesting British features and details into the construction. This is by far the best Litzmannstadt Y-strap I have ever seen and had the pleasure to offer and is impossible to upgrade!

Unique D-Day used Bergen rucksack named Captain Marrow, D. Coy with invasion markings
Rare and unique British Bergen rucksack as issued to Royal Marine Commando’s, Glider Pilots and other special ops units. These large Rucksacks were the tell tale equipment piece for any Commando as they were intended for use by troops that were not followed by transport vehicles and whose mission demanded that they take equipment which could not be carried in the large pack or haversack. This Bergen rucksack is exactly the type as used on D-Day, but this one has the proof it was actually there; the tell-tale invasion markings on the back of the bergen show it was used by a Royal Marine Commando or a Glider Pilot. The exact unit for these invasion markings is not known but would be a great base for further study that is worthy of this rucksacks history! The rucksack was originally obtained from a Vide-Greniers or flea market east of Caen, around 1995. This is a unique D-Day item that would be the prime piece in any Commonwealth D-Day display!

These boots were especially designed for mountain troops but later in the war these were sometimes issued to Heer, Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS units as well, simply perfect for a late war combat mannequin of any kind! For sure one of the best pairs I have ever offered!

Battledress with period sewn 7th Armoured Division Royal Signals insignia
Canadian battledress, as worn by a British soldier serving in the Corps of Royal Signals in the 7th Armoured Division. The jacket is in good, worn condition with wartime sewn insignia. The insignia consist of the flashes of the Corps of Royal Signals and the insignia for the 7th Armoured Division. Army Council Instruction 1207 dated 9.9.44 changed the wording from Royal Corps of Signals to Royal Signals which indicates the sewing of the insignia in September 1944 earliest.
Most probably this garment was worn by a radio operator or despatch rider. The Canadian Battledresses were often worn by British troops as its quality wool was preferred over the British wool. The Battledress is a nice size 10 and would be hard to upgrade. Unlike many Battledresses on the market; this one shows character and actual field wear which would be very hard to upgrade! -

SS-VT sleeve eagle Hammerhead pattern
Rare early SS-VT sleeve eagle in the textbook, early hammerhead design. Typical early or pre war example with black backing with remnants of the original RZM label. Super scarce bird that one was bought by me, straight from the grandson of a Dutch resistance member who collected ‘souvenirs’ at the end of the war in and around the town of Breda. The lot was acquired by me, straight from the family. A salty but original set, one that was never in a collection before and you would never ever have to doubt the authenticity!
