Possibly one of the rarest canteens! A one liter large Labeflasche as issued to Gebirgsjäger and Sanitäter. This late war variant is marked RB0/0570/0038 on the canteen and comes with a gaberdine cover. The canteen and its cover are in good used condition. The strap is supple and undamaged. The gaberdine cover is super rare and only scarcely encountered on large canteens, the first one I have ever found!

€165.00Soldbuch to Schützen Gustav Hansch from Litztmannstadt. His Erkennungsmarke was marked 1./ L.S.B. 588 indicating Landesschützen-Bataillon 588 which was stationed in Litztmannstadt which was infamous for its Ghetto and the recycling of captured French, British and Polish army equipment. This bataillon was destroyed in 1945 in Litztmannstadt as the Russians advanced. He was released from service in 1944 as he had very short vision.

€165.00Nice late war large 1L capacity canteen or “1L Labeflasche” in good used condition. The canteen itself is nicely marked WWL 42 which indicates production by Wilhelm Wiesenauer, Aluminiumwarenfabrik Ludwigsburg in 1942. WWL is an extremely rare to find maker and for me the second example I encountered! The canteen is in overall good condition without damages and comes in its original configuration with a black phenolic resin cup!

Textbook late war M31 Zeltbahn or shelter quarter in Splittertarn camouflage in good condition. The Zeltbahn retains most if not all of its factory applied steel stamped buttons. The Zeltbahn has a few small holes and stains but no major damages.This example is nicely marked RBNr. which has sadly became unreadable. The Zeltbahn has nice vibrant colours which would look very nice in any display!

The canteen is nicely marked MN 42 which indicates production by Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar (MENESA) in 1942. The canteen is in a textbook configuration with a black bakelite canteen cup. Very nice example!

Original late war tan field/bunker lantern or Einheitslanterne 42 in very nice condition with a lot of the original factory applied paint still remaining. This is the late war model introduced in 1942 which would replace the bakelite version (Einheitslanterne 37). The lantern is also complete with its tan painted steel hook which are virtually always missing. Sadly the glass on one of the sides is broken. Nice example in untouched condition which would look perfect in any late war display!

Late war blue M31 rucksack with Italian leather
Excellent late war M31 Rucksack with various interesting features such as Italian captured leather and blue coloured fabric. The Rucksack is nicely marked 0/0378/0005 44 which indicates production by an unknown maker in 1944. Notice the very unusual usage of the captured (green) Italian leather in the construction of this Rucksack. Almost all the straps and leather parts are made out of this typical Italian leather. This type of captured leather can sometimes be encountered on MG tool pouches but this is the first time I have encountered it in the construction of a Rucksack. Very nice and interesting late war Rucksack in very good condition!

Textbook early war MG34 ammunition box or Patronenkasten 34 made out of aluminium with field grey coloured factory paint. The factory paint still retains for around 85%. This ammo box is nicely marked with an WaA and the date 1940 which indicates this ammo box was produced in 1940 specifically for the MG34. Nice and original early war MG34 ammunition box!

Textbook late war long M38 gasmask canister with periodically attached straps with a type of rubberized ends. Stunning canister without mask which would be perfect for display on a mannequin because the weight of a complete canister with gasmask would damage the straps on long terms! This is the typical late war “Last Ditch” canister with the stamped steel hook!
