  • Late war M42 bayonet frog

    Scarce late war M42 bayonet frog. Originally designed to go with the folding E-tool, this bayonet frog was later in the war introduced to spare more raw materials on bayonet frogs. The frog is nicely marked R.B.Nr. 0/1001/0038 indicating production by Lederfabrik Fr. Vogel Mattighofen. The metal parts on this frog are slightly corroded but they can imo easily be cleaned. The leather on the frog is supple. Hard to find late war frog!

    Pre war M31 Kochgeschirr marked FWBN 38 indicating production by F.W. Brockelmann Aluminiumwerk GmbH KG, Neheim/Ruhr. The messkit comes with its original 1939 dated strap with aluminum hardware. Very nice original messkit with 90% of the original factory paint and original strap. Hard to upgrade early piece.

  • 1937 dated Czech shovel with cover

    A nicely 1937 dated Czech straight E-tool. The complete stock of Czech uniforms and equipment was taken in by the German army at the beginning of the occupation in 1938. A large portion of these shovels was straightly re-issued into the Waffen-SS which up till 1940 could not rely on the issue of equipment through the OKW. Hence you can see these a lot of pictures of the Waffen-SS in the early campaign. These shovels where used and issued within all branches of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS from 1940 onwards. I’ve included a few pictures of these shovels in German use.

    A very nice P38 softshell holster marked jwa 4 indicating production by Moritz Stecher, Lederwerk, Freiburg in 1944. The holster is in mint condition and would be very hard to upgrade!

    A wartime issued K.W. 27 or Kartenwinkelmesser 27. This set of of map grids used to calculate distances and angles on maps. These where issued together with the mapcase! The set is made by Gebr. Wichmann in 1938 and is complete with all 3 grids and the pouch in near mint condition. A great set, as issued together with a mapcase in near mint condition!

    A very nice original belt, roughly sized 95 centimeters suitable for most mannequins! The belt is a late war type designed to save raw materials. The belt has been made of the typical material used for shovel carriers and so on. Hard to upgrade!

    A matching K98 bayonet marked 41 CVL indicating production by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen. The bayonet is unsharpened and matching. It is in good used condition with some dents on the scabbard. Still a nice honest bayonet complete with a nice brown frog.

    A very nice pre war M31 messkit marked RZM M6/17/39. The messkit still retains up to 90% of its original field grey paint. These RZM quality messkits where issue to all sorts of political organizations. This short M31 model is a typical military messkit. This M31 messkit was most probably made and used by the Waffen-SS. The usual prewar political models for the HitlerjugendAllgemeine-SS and SA where finished in a black paint. This one, being a short military model produced in Feldgrau was most probably produced and used by the Waffen-SS.

    A nice messkit for a early SS-VT setup!

    A mid-war tropical rucksack made with British webbing parts by Wirtschaftsamt Litzmannstadt. It shows a little age but mostly its just in lightly used condition. The rucksack retains all straps, flaps and metal fittings. Hard to upgrade with very interesting captured materials recycled into the construction of this rucksack!

  • Wehrmacht issue blanket

    A original German army issue blanket. These blankets where issued and used members of the Heer and Waffen-SS. The importance of blankets in a war is very underestimated and where more then often the only comfort a soldier would have.

    This blanket is in used condition, it has a rip and the ends are fraying a bit. None the less, this is a original Wehrmacht issue blanket that would be perfect for a personal effects display and very nice correctly folded or strapped onto a Tornister or Rucksack!

  • Mint pre war Waffen-SS/Political marked RZM M6/11/39

    A very nice Prewar RZM M6/11/39 marked messkit in mint condition. Unlike many tall prewar RZM messkits in black, this Messkit is executed in Feldgrau indicating production for the Waffen-SS. It is in mint condition with over 99% of the original paint remaining to the piece. A scarce matching messkit in perfect condition!

    A very nice textbook late war canteen made by Annweiler Email-u.Metall-Werke, Annweil in 1944. It has a nice late brown RB numbered strap and a red painted cap. The canteen is wrapped in a nice late gaberdine cover with 3 press studs in stead of 4. A very nice unissued late war canteen !

  • Unusual late-war M31 zeltbahn without grommets

    A beautiful though unusual M31 zeltbahn that has been made without the grommets at the corners for the tent poles and ropes. This was done later in the war to further save on raw materials. This is the first time I encounter a Splitter zeltbahn like this without grommets. The zeltbahn has a very nice and strong colour contrast and looks to be in unused condition. There are  one or two minor oles in the fabric but overall it looks bright, as new!

    This picture was taken on the Tilburg-Breda front in Holland where Polish troops are fighting with their Canadian comrades in arms. They were taken after Polish troops had captured Alphen and Gilze (October 27th) and were moving on to Breda. A wounded German wearing camouflaged uniform is interviewd by the Polish war correspondent Mathew Feldhouse. These Prisoners were captured in the battle for Gilze.
