The first pattern straps do not cross and are sewn directly to the garment. This is a removable set but they do not have the stitching attatching both pieces to each other which probably is the pattern after this one. Hard to find spare pieces!

This award was awarded to Ernst Schröder serving in the 5. Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 46. It was signed at Einsatzort indicating he was awarded it at the same place of the action at 1.6.1940. The unit Infanterie Regiment 46 which was a part of the 30 Infanterie Division which took part of the Polish campaign and later Fall Gelb. Judging from where the division was on 1.6.1940 he had the Iron Cross for a action in the Netherlands or Belgium. Nice document in good condition, perfect for further research!

On the 12th of August 1944 it fired in support of the 3rd Cavalry group with the 80th infantry division toward Carrouges and Evron. More information here. The mapcase was taken as a souvenir to this unit. Several names inside give a number of research opportunities. Nice piece!

A great early buckle with 85% of its factory paint remaining. Most of these aluminium buckles are very worn down and have little to no paint remaining. Rare to find in this uncleaned condition with most of its paint remaining!

Named 1944 dated Zeltbahn on overprint cloth
A nice late war 3 panel construction “overprint” Zeltbahn. The base cloth of the zeltbahn has been printed in a different print prior to the application of the Splittertarn pattern. This pattern cane seen throughout the Zeltbahn but ont on the edges. This can be repurposed foreign or civilian cloth or a late war carbon overprint variant to camouflage against infra red. The former soldier Artur Raabe wrote his name on this piece 3 times. The zeltbahn is also marked RBNr. 0/0591/001 and dated 1944.
A very nice zeltbahn for the specialized collector!

A very nice aluminum early MG34 ammunition box. The box has been camouflaged in a nice light tan paint. The closing latch of the box is a wartime repair done by the Waffenmeister. The box retains up to 85% of its original wartime applied camouflage paint.
