    Excellent 3rd pattern Luftwaffe navigation disc or Dreieckrechner DR3 Tp. This example is nicely marked FL. 23 825, gwr, Jan. 1944. The 3 letter code gwr indicates production by an unknown manufacturer in January 1944. This is the rare 3rd pattern which is made out of yellow tinted illuminating synthetic resin material for clear view at night flying and/or low visibility, same idea as with the Luftwaffe issued flight maps. These navigation computers were used by Luftwaffe pilots in almost every German aircraft such as the Me109, Fw190, Me262, He-111, Do-217, Ju-88 and almost all others! Excellent and very rare Dreieckrechner DR3 Tp in very good condition which would be hard to upgrade!

There is light aging to the material but it is how it was found. Very hard to find for any Generals tunic in any condition!

The garment is nicely cut with a set of award loops and all of its insignia. The garment is a good medium to large size with minor wear and a few small repairs, notably the left elbow. Nice display tunic with a rare Waffenfarbe!

As far as I can tell the garment still retains most of its details but the two chest portions have the button section removed, the rear lining is missing and the back panel has a added central seam. This garment is not complete but could be completed, or its individual parts used for insignia and or award display. The collar and two sleeves are still fuly intact. A restoration project, a simple but real blouse to display under a smock or simply to display insignia or awards!

Wichmann. These where used to read angles on maps in a 6400 mills scale. The corners on the inside of the pouch shows a small damage. Perfect example!

Rare to encounter a 1942 produced M31 pattern canteen in unissued condition. Textbook fully matching and unissued unissued M31 example which is a must have for every canteen collector!

Neunkirchen-Saar in 1940. Nice detail is that this example features pigskin straps even though it is an early example and it features an unmarked cup which is a rare feature for M31 canteens. Sadly the straps is broken at the bottom as can be seen. Excellent textbook M31 example which is a must have for every canteen collector!

  • Rare Dutch “VerBliFa” made M42 canteen

    Beautiful and very rare canteen most probably made by the Dutch company VerBliFa (De Vereenigde Blikfabrieken) during the German occupation. The canteen is in used but good condition. VerBliFa (De Vereenigde Blikfabrieken) was the main manufacturer of the Dutch pre 1940 army mess kits, canteens and other stuff, these items were made in the exact same way. Stamped sheet metal and then tinned! The canteen is missing its cup. The canteen is unmarked which is often the case with these Dutch produced canteens. Maybe one of the rarest variant of the M42 canteen there is, and for sure one of the best canteens I have ever offered!

Interestingly the cover shows a mix in press studs, some smooth and some with the typical pattern. Excellent example!

The canteen is a typical late war example with a rough wool cover with small press studs and black pebbled straps. The flask itself is marked SMM 43 and the cup is marked SMM 44 which in my opinion indicates a factory mismatched example produced by Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik, Mussbach in early 1944 with left over stock from 1943. Excellent late war M42 which would be hard to upgrade!

    Matching Dutch Stormdolk in excellent condition. The knife is matching numbered to its CW marked scabbard with 9339D. The knife retains its factory blueing and grip. The leather scabbard is complete but at some point the brass wire around the tip was modified by the veteran to a loop hang it from the wall. The blade retains up to 95% of its original factory blueing. Excellent example which would be really hard to upgrade!
