    Panzer-Abteilung 127; served under the 22. Panzerdivision, later 27. Panzerdivision. A small part was merged into Panzer Regiment 24 under the 24. Panzerdivision and sent to France. The major part of this unit was merged into schweren Panzer-Abteilung 509.
    Panzer-Abteilung 215; was renamed Panzer-Abteilung 115 in the 15. Panzer-Grenadier-Division fought the last part of the war on the Western Front. It fought in the Battle of the Bulge, where it participated in the Siege of Bastogne and in Operation Blockbuster, serving under the First Parachute Army. It surrendered to the British at war’s end.

In September 1944 it was rebuilt in Lothringen.

    Textbook aluminium Erkennungsmarke marked 2./J.E.B.6 indicating Infanterie Ersatz Battallon 6 which was moved from Lübeck to the Netherlands in september 1944 where it was added to Grenadier Regiment 1225. This unit fought in the Reichswald, Venlo, Straelen, Geldern, Issum and Wesel. After these battles it was once again moved to the Netherlands in the area between Utrecht and Hilversum. It fought at Zutphen, Vreden and Borken. It was destroyed in the Ruhrkessel and went into US captivity. A nice Erkennungsmarke with a good base for further research!

    The I. Abteilung of the Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 211 was set up on September 6, 1939 in Wuppertal as a light artillery replacement Abteilung. The division was placed under the command of Division 156. On November 10, 1939, the division was relocated to Thorn in West Prussia. On August 20, 1940, the division was relocated back to Aachen. On December 19, 1942, the replacement department was renamed Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung I./211 and was deployed near Boulogne. In Boulogne, the reserve department formed the I. Department of the 149 Artillerie Regiment of the 49. Infanteriedivision on February 1, 1944 which fought between Boulogne and Paris. In 1945, the department was subordinate to Division 466 where it was stationed between Bocholt and Dorsten. On 24th of March 1945 it was stationed in the direct area of operation Varsity.

    Textbook M38 gasmask in tall canister in very good condition. The canister features a typical rough field repaint. The mask does not have the filter with it. The gasmask itself is a nice green rubber variant. The straps of the gasmask itself feature a label and writing which indicates this set belonged to Obergefreiter Imm, Feldpostnummer 42931. Very nice named set!

    Feldpostnummer L55629 indicates 1. Batterie Luftsperr-Abteilung 103 which served under the 4. Flak Division.

    Tall 1942 dated M38 gasmask canister in spray painted three-tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage pattern. Textbook early and short example in its original period applied camouflage pattern. The canister is complete with its gasmask but without filter. The canister is a rare variant with a sharp bottom edge. The canister retains up to 90% of its period applied camouflage paint. Hard to find, original example in a stunning and vibrant camouflage pattern!

    M38 gasmask in three tone brush applied camouflage named Unteroffizier Janhsen in very good condition. The gasmask is in a typical three-tone camouflage finish typical for this very specific unit(!). Trough the least 8 years I have seen two of this exact camouflage pattern with this Feldpost number. The lid of the spare lens compartment is marked L50830 indicating 9. Batterie Batterie Fallschirm-Flak-Regiment 12. This unit was stationed under the II. Fallschirm-Korps and was stationed in St. Lô during D-Day. This unit followed the Korps on the western front until in 1945 it moved to the eastern front. When The canister and its mask are both named Uffz Janhsen. A very nice original camouflage gasmask case with a very good base for further research into the unit!

    Textbook M38 gasmask in tall canister in very good condition. The canister and the mask belong together and are both marked the same way with number 71 by the original owner. The mask does not have the filter with it. The inside of the lid features a label which names the set to Heinrich Hoffman and the bottom features Feldpostnummer L55629. It is hard to find a real matching and named set like this!

    Feldpostnummer L55629 indicates 5. Batterie leichte Flak-Abteilung 987 (o).

    Textbook Luftwaffe issued M38 Gasmaske named Flieger Manz Josef, L10997B, Amsterdam über Bentheim. The Gasmask is in good, used condition and features two period overpaints; one in blue Luftwaffe paint and one in green. The gasmask is complete with original straps and reinforcements in rawhide. The Feldpostnummer indicates the following units;

    Flieger Ausbildings regiment 51 1.4.39 in Weimar-Nohra from Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung 51. In 1941 moved to Antwerpen, and was renamed Flieger-Regiment 51. In 1942 strength was increased to 3 battalions. Was absorbed by the 3. and 5. Fallschirm-Jäger-Divisions on 9.9.44. An Ausbildungs-Bataillon was reformed on 9.10.44 in Luftgau VI. A very nice and interesting gasmask canister which has a very good base for further research. The Fallschirmjäger units later fought in the Ardennes offensive!

The Y-straps are manufactured in 1941 and shows factory applied steel hardware. Very rare Y-strap which would be hard to upgrade!

The shell has a lot heat number 31. The liner is named and marked with ASN and laundry code. The shell is a textbook fixed bale example with factory sewn straps. The factory paint retains up to 95 and would be very hard to upgrade.

This box for the Czech ZB 37 machine gun or MG 37 (t) originally had a slope welded inside to stack the ZB ammunition properly. This slope was removed by the Germans and the leftover holes filled in prior to a tan repaint. A rare box to encounter in very good condition with most of the wartime tan camouflage!
