  • Textbook 1940 dated NCO Panzer wrap in mint condition

    Superb and textbook Panzer Wrap in a large size manufactured by Opalla & Co. The wool piped collar tabs are nice early pattern examples factory machine sewn to the collar. The shoulderstraps are also nice wool piped example in the rank of Feldwebel. The breast eagle is period factory hand sewn to the garment which is typical for these early garments. The breast is adorned with 3 sets of period sewn loops for awards and one for a small ribbon bar. The garment is a very nice and large 100 cm breast size. The wool is in perfect condition without any nips or damages. The sleeves are period lengthened but the garment isn’t shortened or tailored in any other way. The garment is a perfect example that would be impossible to upgrade. If you just want one panzer wrap – this is it!

The cup is the last model without the handles and solely a small loop for the strap. The black leather strap is a two piece M42 type with a buckle without roller. The cover is made out of gaberdine and has 3, not 4, grey painted press studs. The canteen is in very good condition. Possibly one of the rarest canteens to find!

The kit comes with the partial contents but -as always- is missing the morphine syrettes. These kits can also be seen worn on the belts of glider- and paratroopers.

    Nice presumably late war Ersatz made privately purchased mapcase with sling and map of Brittany. The mapcase is in good, undamaged condition with working press studs and unbroken celluloid map cover. The mapcase comes with a nice map of Brittany, France in very good unissued condition. The map reaches from Tonquédec to Coatascorn.

  • Blue enamel canteen filling funnel

    A unusual, late war canteen filling funnel. These funnels where used in field kitchens and together with the 5, 10, and 18 liter aluminium “Trinkwasser” drinking water containers to fill canteens. These funnels had the capacity of exactly one standard 0.8 liter canteen. They are wide enough at the top for a 5, 10 or 18 liter drinking water  container to easily poor. It is used by holding a finger underneath the small hole underneath the funnel and then filled to the top. The funnel is then placed above a canteen and the finger is removed. The canteen will be filled quick and without spillage! The funnel is made out of enameled steel like many of the late war canteens. A nice unusual item!

  • Cased German mortar sight RA35

    Beautiful cased German mortar sight for the Granatwerfer 34  or s.Gr.W.34, the main mortar for the German army during world war two. The sight is in good condition with moving parts. The sight comes with its original case in tan paint. The Case could be cleaned on the top with oxalic to great effect, but I left it as is for now. The set was recently found in a household clearing and has never been in a collection before.

  • MG34 and MG42 barrel carrier Laufschützer 43

    Nice original MG34 ánd MG42 barrel carrier marked beq. This variation came first in 1943 when they decided to make a barrel carrier for both types of barrels. The carrier shows signs of a green overpaint which can be cleaned to reveal the beautiful tan paint underneath.

  • Late war 4-panel Waffen-SS Oak zeltbahn with reversed colours

    Late war unissued Zeltbahn in Waffen-SS Oak camouflage. The Zeltbahn is nicely made up out of different colours of camouflaged material, typical for a late war manufacture. What makes this zeltbahn rare is that its of a late war “4 panel” construction. That means that on both far ends of the left and right side a extra triangle is sewn on. Next to that the left panel on the autumn side is unique in that the colours seem to be reversed; this is a first for me. The material is stunning and vibrant and looks like the day it was made. The zeltbahn never had any buttons applied. A unique late war Waffen-SS Zeltbahn with reversed coloursmost probably made in 1945!

    Near mint, 1943 dated US raincoat by US RUBBER CO. The raincoat is in very good, minty condition and in contrary to most examples; is supple and wearable. There is one repair to the end of the sleeve which is neatly repaired. Very hard to find!
