Panzer deathcard Panzerschütze Siegfried Oppel killed in action ‘Im Westen’ at Altkirch 20.11.44. Oppelt is buried in Cernay. Oppelt served in 3 Kompanie Panzer Abteilung Feldhernhalle. The archive card showing more information is not a part of the offering.

Original bakelite Soap container belonging to the Sanitätertasche. The container is marked Seife on top and is made of a very aesthetic and bright brown bakelite.

Textbook US army compass made by Superior Magneto Corp. The compass is still fully functional.

Single M36 Heer shoulderstrap for a Pionier EM. Nice piece with a uncommon unit specified band. Interesting detail is that this strap was constructed from a M40 strap with the dark green wool stitched on top.

A very nice Sanitäter Kleines Feldbesteck. These small pouches with the basic medical tools where carried in the small and large medical pouches by medical staff in the Wehrmacht. The pouch is of a nice leather construction. Complete with the insert but with only partial contents. A great item to complete a Sanitäter pouch with!

 

 

Excellent rubber rain cover or Okularschutz in very good easily attachable condition with supple leather parts. Hard to find as a spare for the tan coloured and the very rare Bakelite Dienstglas binoculars in very good condition!

 

Original spare cleaning rod which measures 32cm (12 1/2 inch) which indicates it is produced in 1940 or later! This type is will fit all the post 1940 produced K98 and later the K/G43 rifles as well. Original cleaning rod which is nowadays almost impossible to find as a spare. Most examples on the market are replicas and could damage the thread inside the rifle itself, an original like this example is a must!

Original pre war Welta Perle camera. It is estimated out of every 10 soldiers, up to 6 carried a camera during world war two. These pre war camera’s where typical of the era and small enough to be carried in ones uniform pocket. The camera comes with its original pouch, manual and manual shutter. The camera is in good and probably working condition.

Unmarked bakelite rain cover or Okularschütz in a beautiful slightly used condition. Hard to find as a spare in this condition!

Excellent wound badge in silver or “Verwundetenabzeichen Im Silber” (VWA) constructed out of zinc with a silver finish. These double marked wound badges are hard to come by and extremely popular under collectors. This example is nicely marked with the LDO code L/16 and the PKZ number 4  which both indicate production by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Excellent  marked example! 

Waffen-SS deathcard to Georg Bergbauer, Unteroffizier (Unterscharführer) in the 18. SS-Panzergrenadier Division Horst Wessel. He was wounded between Bielitz and Auschwitz.
