A very nice M31 canteen in near mint condition. All the parts are marked MKL 42 indicating production by Max Kamper, Lüdenscheid. The canteen comes with a very nice lightbrown leather strap. A rare to find maker, especially in this complete and near mint condition!

Very nice original equipment belt manufactured in rubber, not leather. Very nice and late war Ersatz piece.

Stunning original three-tone camouflage MG34 ammunition/oil storage tin. The tin retains up to 90% of its original camouflage paint and would be hard to upgrade!

A very nice light brown holster marked hjg 1941 indicating production by Kimnach u. Brunn, Fabrik fuer Heeresausruestung, Kaiserslautern. The holster is most probably for a 7,65 pistol such as the PPK and in mint condition.

Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

Very nice original US M3 Nash-Kelvinator Corp. 1943 binoculars with its original M17 case. The binoculars are in good, usable condition.

Pre war Dutch gasmask in good issued condition. The bag comes with the mobilization hook and is a typical piece as issued to the troops in 1940.

Beautiful lightly worn Heer M40 pattern shoulderstraps piped with white rayon indication issue to the Infanterie.

Textbook Luftwaffe aluminum belt buckle maker marked F.R. 38 and Franz Reichenauer, Oberstein 1938. Beautiful example from a rare maker!

Textbook tabbed aluminum Heer belt buckle maker marked and dated HCH Schwerter Menden 1936 which is one of the rarest manufacturers!

Textbook Luftwaffe equipment belt maker LBA(S) marked and dated 1938 and a good medium size 90.

Rare late war unblackened chinstrap in very good, lightly used condition. Hard to find replacement!

Original Kriegsmarine issue blanket. The blanket is in good used condition with lots of nap remaining. Some small moth damage but mostly in very nice condition!

Textbook brown leather issue double claw or Zweidornkoppel in very good condition. The belt is in beautiful brown leather with functional buckle and loop. The belt is nicely marked and sized 100 which is a perfect large mannequin size.

Very nice named Walther PP holster marked gjh 1943 indicating production by Rudolf Conte, Nachf. Theodor Seibod, Fabrik fuer Lederwaren, Offenbach. The holster is named inside Morten Quistgard.

Original German helmet chinstrap dated 1942 in good used condition.

Textbook original German helmet chinstrap in very good condition. Maker marked G. Schiele Loburg 1940. 

Very interesting Soldbuch (Ersatzausfertigung) from Obergefreiter Frans Weizenegger who served in the 7. Kompanie of the Grenadier-Regiment 158, this unit was part of the 82. Infanterie-Division and experienced very tough fighting on the eastern front. The most interesting thing about this Soldbuch are the enclosed Sturm and Nahkampftage lists which have been completed extensively.

The first Sturmtage started in June 1942 were Weizenegger was appointed as MG-Schütze, his unit then engaged heavy fighting in the region of Belgorod on the eastern front. In 1942 he was injured for which he is awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. In January and March of 1943 again follow Nahkampftage as Obergefreiter Weizenegger then has been appointed as Zugmelder. This is one of the battle days that took place in the north of Woronesch. After these fights he was awarded the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber and the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Class. Then again at the end of August and September 1943 the took part in some heavy fighting in the Kiev region. Here he assigned nine Sturm and Nahkampftage. These are Sturm and Nahkampftage were provided  with a date and precise location, which makes this group very suitable for further research. In January 1944 Weizenegger was again admitted to a hospital with a gunshot wound where he stayed until April 1944. After his hospital admission Weizenegger was transferred to the 1059 Grenadier-Regiment.

This unit was part of the 362 Infanterie-Division and already fought since February 1944 at the Nettuno bridgehead at Cisterna. Northern of Pistoia is then occupied that Apennin position. In September, the division prevent an enemy breakthrough at Firenzulo. After heavy fighting with partisans at Monte La Fine the division fought  on the southern part of the Futa pass from October 1944 in Bologna. The last withdrawal fights were at the Po river at Ro. On May 2. 1945, the 362 Infanterie-Division capitulates. This Soldbuch is with the many Sturm / Nahkampftage and combat history which would nicely fit in any specialized document collection.

 

 

Rare example in good used condition with a wartime repaint in Feldgrau. The top of the canister bears a Cyrillic name АОЯІОШИН which translates to AOJAІOŠIN. This is most probably a name for a eastern ‘volunteer’ serving on the Atlantikwal. Very hard to find original gasmask with a Cyrillic ‘volunteer’ name
