€300.00Interesting tabbed aluminium Luftwaffe belt buckle by Wiedmann 1938 with unit markings and field repaint. This belt buckle is a nice pre war Luftwaffe belt buckle manufactured in aluminium by E. Ferd. Wiedmann, Frankfurt am Main. The buckle is a nice, pre war variant which has three layers of paint. The first is the silver factory coating. This was overpainted in tan camouflage paint, worn down and later in Luftwaffe blue paint. The buckle is unit marked Fliegerhorst Kommandantur Schweinfurt. Nice tabbed and pre war example with interesting details!

This tool was used for bending and beading the material prior to riveting. The method for producing a lot of Luftwaffe airplanes was with Sprengnieten; this is a hollow, explosive rivet which was ignited to expand and fasten the rivet. Hard to find tool!

A portion of the Division fought during operation Cobra and the other secured the town and fortifications of Sainte Nazaire and Lorient. Hard to find original example! with a nice base for further research.
