German military issue wristwatch or Dienstuhr
Typical issue wristwatch in good used condition. The watch is marked Recto. The watch is serialized 559513 (Dienstuhr Heer). The wristwatch is IMO a typical Wehrmacht issue, not private purchase piece. I tested the watch and after 1 hour it still kept the time. It’s not a watch destined for daily wear, but it’s a nice detail that it still winds and holds the time to some extent. The watch still carries its original supple period strap which are mostly replaced, removed or simply damaged. A real Dienstuhr can be the finishing touch on a mannequin!
