Unissued M31 canteen marked G&CL 43
€250.00Textbook late war produced M31 canteen in unissued, mint condition. The canteen comes in a somewhat typical late war configuration with beautiful brown leather straps and a bakelite cup marked gfc 1944. The canteen is nicely marked G&CL 43 which indicates production by Gehardi & Co, Lüdenscheid in 1943. Textbook late war M31 canteen with aesthetics brown leather straps which would be hard to upgrade!

M42 canteen marked CFL 44
€250.00Textbook late war M42 canteen in very good, most likely unissued condition. The canteen features very nice brown leather straps. The canteen and the cup are both nicely marked CFL 44 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1944. The cover shows some small discoloration and moth holes around the edges of the cup. Interestingly the cover is fitted the the wrong way around with the press studs on the right side instead of on the left but this is how I got it. Textbook M42 canteen!

The flask is dated 1942 but I believe this is merely the mould marking, not the actual date. This is very common with these canteens to find 45 marked cups with earlier dated bodies. The strap, cup and hardware all point towards later war manufacture in 1945. Hard to find example!

€250.00Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 4636d and has nice clean wooden grips. Jos. Corts marked bayonets are one of the rarest K98 bayonets! The bayonet is in very good, uncleaned, unsharpened and matching (!) condition.
