Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

A very nice late war equipment belt marked RBNR and size 85.

A very rare Gebirgsjäger rucksack waist strap in good, unissued condition. This piece is virtually always missing from all Gebirgsjäger rucksacks and impossible to find as a spare!

Rare pre war LBA(S) marked Luftwaffe equipment belt in chocolate brown leather. Hard to find early belt with the hidden stitch for the buckle attachment tongue!

A mint late war breadbag made out of captured rough cloth, most probably Russian! A very nice unusual breadbag in good unissued condition.

Very nice second pattern equipment belt marked ftb44. The belt is in mint condition never having a buckle attached. The belt is a size 90 which is a common modern mannequin size.

Nice original US Musette bag marked Varey – Shea 1942.

“tropical” M31 1L canteen or Labeflasche with webbing straps in slightly used condition. The flask itself is nicely marked ESB 42 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1942. Unusual but for sure original is the unmarked aluminium small 10cl canteen cup which was mainly seen on pre war medical canteens but can be encountered on all types of canteens throughout the war. These cups have been found on ESB canteens multiple times. Interesting canteen with a nice cup!

Excellent textbook early war M31 (Feldflasche) canteen with aluminium flask in light used condition. The flask and the felt cover are both nicely marked ESB 41 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1941. In textbook configuration with an excellent black bakelite cup marked gfc 1941. Excellent matching canteen in good slightly used condition!

Textbook 6×30 Dienstglas Strap marked R (G. Rodenstock) 1940. Very hard to find marked and dated straps!

Beautiful late war manufactured M31 pattern breadbag. This example is made out of the typical late war fabric and comes with brown leather parts which makes it look very nice. The breadbag features a large stamped RBNr. on the inside which is not completely readable. Textbook late war example!
